Mondayy

Today is Monday, well, it technically is Tuesday, but that is besides the point. That means there is only three more days of Classicalhoney! French Pastries class. That is so exciting. I’ll have a ten day break before academics. I bring my uniform home every weekend to wash it, but somehow when I bring it back I always find crazy amounts of black cat hair. Its kind of hilarious actually, but oh well.  I got two awesome sweaters today at Saver’s. One is crazy eighties, while the other is earthy tones and big! I decided I really want to learn about different kinds of clouds. It would totally be beneficial knowing which clouds are which. Before class I usually eat some dinner. Tonight I had an apple and I made Bob Red Mill’s 5 Grain cereal, I added nutmeg to it and the oatmeal was delicious. I even added a little honey to heighthen the sweetness. And anybody who knows me, knows I have a sweet tooth : )

Soy Eggnog

z113.jpgI was so excited today when i went to the grocery market. There was soynog, the brand I bought was Hollynog. It’s almost time for Christmas songs, holiday m&m’s, and soy eggnong. One of my favorite things around the holidays is the lights and decorations. Going to get my Christmas tree every year is always so exciting, as dorky as that may sound. Another favorite thing of mine is The 25 Days of Christmas on abc family. I love all the Rankin Bass films. I decided to definitely bake gingerbread men, mexican wedding cookies, gingersnaps, and oatmeal cookies for gifts this year. I think I’ll make one other cookie, but I’m not sure what yet, snickerdoodles maybe? I’m not sure. Right now I’m watching The Wizard of Oz. It reminds me of being a little kid. I really need to get some warmer clothes, good thing there is a 50% off sale at Savers, an amazing thrift store near by. I’m excited!

Swedish Fishh

Napkin, my cat. If I could only have one candy for the rest of my life I would choose Swedish Fish. It’s awesome getting giant bags of them at Sam’s Club. My mom has been sending me pictures of my cat for the past couple of days. I miss her so much. It has been a year since I haven’t lived with her. I’m so in the mood for some Tom Petty. It would just be so perfect. I have to start thinking of a menu for Thanksgiving. I will make my usual Vegan Pumpkin pie with tofu. Last year I made it with a whole wheat crust, but this year it’ll be sweeter with a crushed gingerbread cookie crust. Mmmm, I love baking around the holidays. I also have to think of what kind of cookies I want to make everyone for Christmas.

Tuesdayy

Only 7 more glorious days left of French Pastries class. I can never eat anything from class because everything needs gelatin. Disappointing.  The fact that I have missed my television show for the past week is also pretty disappointing. I love the Discovery Channel’s “A Haunting”. The Discovery Channel is basically one of the greatest things ever invented(along with sliced bread and the Foodnetwork!). I am love with Unwrapped and 2 Dudes Catering. haha. Do you know who is great? Lil’ Wayne is great. I really need to get back into knitting. Its been too long and this would really be the appropriate time to start again. I’ll have to make a green one first(I still owe somebody a scarf). There is also no greater feeling than having exact change. Actually, that is completely not true, but I’d like to think that.

sundayy

con1.jpgToday I thought about what would happen if I just dropped everything i was doing, moved somewhere else, with little money, and continued life on from that point. Obviously, a crazy long distance from reality. Anyways, I was also thinking about how to learn about a person without having an actual conversation with them. One way was to look at what keychains they have or how they take their coffee. Weird. I’ve also strongly been considering making the commitment to be a vegan. I mean I occassionaly eat some cream cheese with a bagel (panera bread’s cream cheese of course with a whole grain bagel), but theres vegan cream cheese too.  While watching Flight of the Conchords, I discovered the exact owl that I want for a tattoo. It ironically enough turned out to be the design on Bret’s favorite sweatshirt. Amazing.
